About me
A little bit about me
I'm Sahar, and I'm in middle school. I'm the kind of person who reads one fact about octopuses and then spends the whole evening learning about octopuses. My brain likes to connect things: how music is really math, how a neural network learns a bit like a Quidditch team practicing, how some of the spells in Harry Potter are starting to look possible with real science.
I started this website so I'd have a place to write those ideas down and share them. I'll post new blogs and articles regularly. Some will be serious, some will be silly, and a few will probably be both.
On the court
If I'm not reading or practicing piano, I'm probably playing tennis. I'm honestly a little obsessed. I love that it's part athletics and part chess: every shot is a decision about speed, spin and angle. I'm working on my topspin forehand right now, and I watch way too many match highlights. You can play me on the court up above. I'm a tough opponent.
My friends
My friends are honestly the best part of my day. We argue about which Hogwarts house is best, swap book and music recommendations, and help each other out with homework. They make hard days easier and good days even better. I'm really lucky to have them, and I try hard to be the kind of friend they can always count on.
